Biography

Christopher is an Assistant Professor and Program Director of the MSRS Cardiac Specialist at the Weber State University School of Radiologic Sciences in Ogden, Utah, USA.

 Chris will soon begin his third term as chair of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Cardiac Interventional & Vascular Interventional Chapter. He is a Fellow of the Alliance of Cardiovascular Professionals and serves Cardiac Credentialing International on the Board of Advisors and RCIS Exam Committee. He is the founder and chair of the Society of Cardiovascular Science Educators. Chris has served as a consultant to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Cardiac-Interventional Exam Committee and the Practice Analysis and Continuing Qualification Requirements Advisory Committee.

 Chris became a Trustee of the World Radiography Educational Trust Foundation in 2013 and has been its chair since 2018. He has transformed the Ambassador program into a leadership development program with representatives in over twenty countries. He is most proud of initiating the World Radiography Student Day and its annual conference. Chris is a Regional Coordinator of Professional Practice for the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists. He is also proud member of the ASRT International Speakers and Corporate Sponsored Programs Review Committee.

 Passionate about education, Chris has addressed audiences including the ISRRT 19th, 20th and 21st World Congress, the World Health Organization, the ASRT Educational Symposium, the RAD-AID Conference on Radiology in Developing Countries, the Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Sciences and numerous international organizations and societies. He has contributed book chapters to Invasive Cardiology: A Manual for Cath Lab Personnel, Radiology in Global Health: Strategies, Implementation, and Applications and The Heart Revealed, a project of The European Society of Radiology and The European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology. He is currently part of a talented team working on Clark’s Essential Guide to Angiography Procedures in Cardiology, Neurovascular and General Vascular Radiology. He is a member of the Editorial Review Board of Cath Lab Digest.
